To support the natural fruitiness and character of this red wine, we left it to mature for 24 months in 3000 litre barrels which were produced with a mix of French Oak types. Maturation in these barrels gives the wine additiona/ richness and intensity in both aroma and flavour. The aroma is of blackcurrant and raspberry leaves and the flavour is of clear character with a good acidity, developing gradually on the tongue. This is a wine for the whole evening, both smooth and moreish.

Oark gamet colour with a narrow meniscus and very good viscosity. Piquant, spicy aroma of small berries and stone-fruit with a hint of dried juniper. Significant earthy flavour with traces of unripe blackberries, cf oves and cinnamon. Warming long aftertaste.
